Activities and societies: Phi Theta Kappa. The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).

This is only a small portion of what I learned throughout the program of study. I also gained substantial hands-on experience outside the classroom that proved extremely valuable. The following highlights just some of the skills developed during this time:

Built strong foundations in Windows (10/11, Server 2016/2022) and Linux (Kali, Parrot, Ubuntu, Mint), with skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, and CLI tools. Studied networking in depth, including but not limited to routing, switching, TCP/IP, ports/services, DHCP, FTP, SSH, and web service enumeration. Gained experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, NTFS, system administration, and security hardening.

Practiced ethical hacking on platforms like Hack The Box, using tools including but not limited to Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Mimikatz, Impacket, Gobuster, John the Ripper, and Hashcat. Applied knowledge in password cracking, credential recovery, and log/traffic analysis.

Led a project to build a cloud infrastructure with Ubiquiti and Palo Alto firewalls and 10 Dell PowerEdge servers, managing rack setup and installation as project manager. Also delivered cybersecurity awareness training for college officals.
